but trying to handicap the field is about as useless as a whore in church.

Whatever....I picked 'unknown amateur asian' to win the WSOP, and look what happened. This field is much easier to pick.

Without picking myself, I would pick Jim to win.

Check/Fold strategy will be in strategy of choice on Sat.

Table 1:
1. Charlie "Turd Ferguson"
2. Sean "CrownNseven"
3. Shawn "Smculberts"
4. Burnis Brown-DSOP'r
5. Ray B "Ray"
6. Chad "Babyarm"
7. Todd "toddmcgrath"
8. Brandon "Nekoshana"
9. Trever "RedZero"

Table 2:
1. Michael Courtney-DSOP'r
2. Zach Hill-DSOP'r
3. Kyle-DSOP'r
4. Zach H. "Chopz"
5. Collin "16Penney"
6. Mike "Mushmouthmike"
7. Jimmie Florence-DSOP'r
8. Shawn Kibel-DSOP'r
9. Tony Rulli-DSOP'r

Table 3:
1. JS Jones
2. Rob "TheNUTS"
3. Joe "Pokerscribe"
4. Jim "theJim"
5. Ben Nix-DSOP'r
6. Glenn Messner-DSOP'r
7. Chuck Hutcheson-DSOP'r
8. Greg "ActionGreg"
9. Steve Thornton-DSOP'r

Table 4:
1. Jason "Omni"
2. Jacob Crowley-DSOP'r
3. Scott "OnTilt"
4. John McKay-DSOP'r
5. Chad Yutka-DSOP'r
6. Tommy "Tommytwotoes"
7. Matt "Mobyd"
8. Jonathan Livingston
9. Aaron Mangabang-DSOP'r

Table 5:
1. Matt Paschal-DSOP'r
2. Lenny McIntire-DSOP'r
3. Richard "Grunkzz"
4. Joe "Cajun"
5. Josh "Imaclone"
6. Jake "Cmetilt"
7. James "Poker"
8. Brad A. "Brada"
9. Brian Cole

I don't play with you guys near enough, but I will take a stab at this. My final table selecting two from each table will look like this:

1. Shawn "Smculberts" (Table 1) It's his tournament. He deserves to play at the final table.

2. Trever "RedZero" (Table 1) I don't really have a reason to pick RedZero over anyone else. I just recognize his screen name more than any other person, so I am going with it.

3. Zach H. "Chopz" (Table 2) If his game in Arlington is anything like it usually is then I don't think it will be easy to extract chips from Zach. He held onto his chips rather well and didn't let go until his Big Slick ran into Aces, so I think he will make it to the final table.

4. Jimmie Florence-DSOP'r (Table 2) I have no idea who this person is but he just has a name that sounds like it belongs at a final table of a poker game. "And then we have Jimmie "The Italian" Florence, an old school guy whose family came over because his father couldn't become a made guy in the homeland due to an unknown conflict with the reigning Don at the time."

5. Jim "theJim" (Table 3) He is one of the best card readers I have come across and when he is "on" he is unstoppable. This may be a default choice for some but I truly think he will be a force on Saturday (Jim, don't prove me wrong).

6. Rob "TheNUTS" (Table 3) I am choosing Rob because I feel like I have to. He and I have a small history that mostly consists of me winning pots that I don't deserve. I have only played with him twice or three times but I expect greatness at this tournament.

7. Matt "Mobyd" (Table 4) Well of course I'm going to choose myself. That would just show no self-confidence if I didn't (even if I am afraid that my five-month losing streak will continue Saturday).

8. Scott "OnTilt" (Table 4) I was impressed with his play in Arlington and from what I have heard it wasn't just a one-time thing. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at the final table.

9. James "Poker" (Table 5) I have faith in my partner (not that kind of partner). I fully expect him to double up and get a nice chip lead very early in the tournament, but it is up to him if he holds on to those chips. He does have a sordid history of losing chip leads. What? I'm just sayin'.

10. Brad A. "Brada" (Table5) I want him to be at the final table so that there are some good laughs. I didn't get to play with Brad much in Arlington, but what I overheard from him was quite humorous.
Is it possible to understand Road House 2 even if I haven't seen the original?

These votes are about as worthless as the seeding list for the heads up tournament. Any single individual at any of these tables can easily take and win this tournament if the cards even slightly favor them.

So with that in mind. My final table hopefuls are:

Table 1 - Ray and Charlie

Table 2 - Chopz and Zach Hill (I have my reason)

Table 3 - 2 random DSOP'ers, because the three Westonites in the middle will be killing each other because of their position.

Table 4 - Omni and Ontilt

Table 5 - You guys are on your own. Cajun, Brada, Cmetilt, Clone, Poker, Grunkzzz. I have no clue. Could go any way.

Holy crap I got a vote?!!!! I had to check to make sure there wasn't another Charlie at the table. They like me, they really like me!!!

People tend to disregard the fact that you finished one off the final table, which is far longer than most of the "favorites" at the KI. Wther they were ahead or not when the money went in.

But I was stealing chips off of everyone's stacks when they weren't watching. That has to work against me somehow.

Okay. I'll play.

1. Brad A. "Brada" - So I can taunt him into donking all his chips off against Chopz every other hand.
2. Shawn "Smculberts" - Q-bert - just so he can win his own baseball tickets on the bubble. heheh
3. Brandon "Nekoshana" - Cuz he likes to over play A-10, he is good for a final Table showing.
4. Trever "RedZero" - Just cuz.
5. Zach H. "Chopz" - cuz I need more table time with Chopz for our upcoming heads up match
6. Mike "Mushmouthmike" - I am gonna pretend to be Vanman and tell him how terrible his play is each hand.
7. Matt "Mobyd" - I figure he needs me to double him up to keep him alive again.
8. Jim "theJim" - I am gonna play 7-2o like its AA and see if he can hand read me.
9. Scott "OnTilt" - cuz we played heads up once and chopped. I want my revenge.
10. Tommy "Tommytwotoes" - cuz in the long run everything evens out.

I predict Shawn will need to call Roto Rooter approx. 45 minutes after the dinner break. That is when I will need to "drop the kids off".

That is the safest bet at the MSPC.....its a lock, bet on it.

At the KI! It wasn't a horrible one though. We were both a little low on chips - you a little lower than I - and I pushed with AQ and you called for your stack with KQ and hit. Then about 5 hands later I got to meet Omni as he came to the table to get dealt KK to his AA.

As I said it wasn't a biggie. You had to push pretty quick anyhow. I probably would have done the same thing, but I just put in the bank for the "things even out theory!"

And hell no you weren't sorry - neither would I have been!!!!
