I had been laying low, got beat quite a bit the last few times I played back in May and June (so I took off for over a month). Felt like playing today, so I went to the 4-8 1/2 Kill at Boulder Station around 2PM. Did well right away, wen't up about $70, then had big cards do bad things to me. Quickly dropped down to about $20 in front of me, (negative) $80.
I was about to leave, but I figured I'd try to get back to (negative) $40 before I left. All of the sudden, I started getting great cards, and was getting great flop support. I rode the wave for about 3 hours, and I ended up cashing out with $420. A profit of $320 on a 4-8 limit game. It was easily my best cash in a live game ever. Especially nice today since I'm moving out of the 'hood on Tuesday, and my car registration is due on July 31st.
P.S. I was hungry on the way home, so I hit up my favorite place for wings... Putters. When I got there, I started drinking more, and ordered my wings. Some guy hit a Royal Flush playing $1 video poker. He bought everyone's drinks and food for the whole night. (There were only about 10 of us in the place). Anyway, I tipped well since it didn't cost me shit.
P.S.S. See you Bargers out here soon!
