Killer Poker Online?

I've been reading it and I think it is helping. I played a $10 MTT with 2215 other people and placed 242 for $80. I'm not quiting my job or anything, but I never thought a book would help my play. This was the first book I bought on Poker.

This was one of the first books I read on poker, and I thought it was horrible. Maybe I need to read it again...

Vorhaus is a good writer. I enjoy his old blogs, and think his novel would probably be ok. But, I've never read any strategy from him that I found unique or interesting.

Perhaps you should read good books?
I dislike winstar, their tournaments suck.

This book has been in my downstairs bathroom forever. It just isn't that well written, nor is it informative. It is just a bunch of babble IMO. He just rambles about common sense type things, and some of his advice is purely theoretical and can't really be backed up by statistics or at least he never does.

If you are just now reading poker books I would highly recommend Harrington on Hold Em (both volumes) and Phil Gordon's Little Green Book. I thought they were good fundamental books, and didn't give me too much tired head

I'm getting the feeling that my first book wasn't a hit with any of you that read it.

I realize there is a lot of common sense things that I didn't need him to tell me, but reminding me of a few of them didn't hurt. Especially since I have just now gotten back in to playing a game every night before I go to bed.

I was actually holding both Killer Poker Online and Harrington's first book when my wife told me to get the KPO because I would be able to play online for a few months before I go to Vegas again. I'm going to get Harrington's book this weekend.

When is the next live game someone is having?
