So I still have massive tilts... I don't seem to beable to shake them... I will play fine for days with one outters hitting me with no tilt occuring...

Then other days I get drawn out on with AKo vs QJs and suddenly I am a tilting whore...

Or I expose my hole cards when I have the best hand on the turn for no good reason... and am on tilt for 5 days....

Sometimes if I do something fun and laugh the tilt goes away. Most of the time it doesn't...

Any help reducing my tilt would be appreciated.

Thanks
G

not that i can really help... but i have found that alot of times when i feel i have been wronged by the cards and i go on tilt... the tilt part is cause the money that I lost was more money than I should have been playing with....and the other reason is that its cause of a series of suckouts or other tough beats and not really one hand in particular even though that is what you focus on....
I try to say to myself that I will get the guys money in the long run(over and over), and i try to look at how that person is playing and try and capitalize off of his bad play in the future. if you focus on how you can trap them again it takes your mind off it.

I still have outbursts etc and when i do i try and have the blowup and then calm myself down right after instead of it lingering and festering.

Try 5 minutes of meditation each day. Sounds kinda gay. And it probably is. So fuck you. I'll beat your ass with Brads monkey ballz.

Seriously. Somewhat regular mediation will help you control your tilt...how bad you get it and how fast you get over it.

i would recommend that you spend your next 40 hours of poker playing low limit poker (3/6 or 4/8). after this, you will be so used to the bad beats and miracle rivers that you will barely flinch when it happens again.

i'm serious, by the way

i believe it is.

it can be profitable for the same reason that it sucks sometimes....lot of people drawing.

as long as you're at a table of where some of the people are playing semi normal, you'll generally do alright. if you're at a table full of gamblers, where everone is seeing everyhand(and no, this doesn't happen at every limit game), you'll have a hard time beating the game. you need to move to another table.
