Maybe this has been answered before....can't remember.

But, what if something happens to the players? Like they get killed in a car wreck or are incapable of playing? Do they blind them off? And if multiple players can't make it, do they finish in the order of their chipstack?

What would really suck for the TV ratings is if they all got together and decided to chop 1-9th place and then they all go all in on the first hand. I would love that.

This could probably go in the other thread too, but I find it ridiculous that they have to wait 3 months to play the final table.

read this on ESPN

"Eight years ago in Broward County, Rheem was convicted of dealing in stolen property and burglary, both felonies, as well as larceny and possession of marijuana, court records show. He was sentenced to four months jail time and 30 months probation."

"He also failed to appear in court on a 2003 misdemeanor trespassing charge in Hollywood, according to state criminal records, leading to a court order for his arrest. The warrant for his arrest remains active."

"Rheem could not be reached for comment. Neither Rheem's main sponsor, PokerStars.net, nor World Series officials said they knew of Rheem's background."

Ooohhh ... it could very well be a November EIGHT this year! A convicted FELON with a five-year outstanding warrant is going to be overlooked now with this publicity? Anyone think that a Broward County judge is not going to wreck Rheem's chance at $9 million? Even if Rheem goes into hiding until the Final Table, all that Florida judge has to do is have his clerk call the LVMPD to pick him up at the Rio.

Hope you have fun with the $900,670 you won, so far. You might want to find a good lawyer with it.

misdemeanor trespassing?

His $900K will buy a good lawyer to take care of that for him long before November.

I DVR'ed last week's WPT. It was last year's LAPC. Scott Montgomery was on the final table, for those of you that want a point of reference.

***********SPOILER***************
He isn't unlikeable, but he isn't very likable, either. He only made one bad play. And, Ivey Jamie Golds the shit.

WSOP 2008 begins airing this Tuesday night.
