exposed. What the hell happened?

Based on this beating what is the best guess for how far they fall?

Would be a shame if they fell out of the BCS bowl race......

I think people use this "exposed"....or, "overrated" thing way too loosely.

They only fell to 7. But since a conference can only take 2 teams to a BCS bowl....barring any upsets the rest of the way...I see them in the Cotton vs Georgia which would be a really good game.

any team that is in the top 5 and gives up 65 points has to be considered exposed.....OU is a good team for sure but that type of a thrashing speaks volumes....

And I don't agree with the thought that they would have been out of the BCS with a one-point loss. When OU lost to Texas by 10 earlier in the year they fell from 1st to 6th. If Tech would have lost by a point with big wins against Okla St, Texas they would not have fallen that far in my opinion.

Oh. Ok. You're right. btw, I'm glad they were. Unfortunately, this also means UT and Okie State suck ass even worse. But, whatever. It's worth it. I won't be surprised to see Texas Tech be further exposed against Baylor this week. Good riddance, pretenders.

"exposed" is a ridiculous term. you could use it if they hadn't played anyone. you could use it for a team like Utah or Boise State. You can't use it for a team that just played, 4 straight ranked teams. 3 of which were ranked in the top 10, one of which was #1.

let's not forget that there hasn't been a single team to run through this schedule undefeated. and that this supposed "exposed" team as already beat UT, who beat the team that supposedly exposed them.

not to take anything away from OU. they played an incredible game and pretty much dominated tech from start to finish. it's unfortunate for Tech that they couldn't have made a better showing in this game. OU owned them this game. but Tech wasn't "exposed" They had a bad game. unfortunately it was the biggest game of the season with the world watching.

and we'll never know now. but i would be willing to bet that if Tech lost by a single point, they would still be ranked 3rd in the Big 12 south and therefore the likelyhood of them playing in a BCS bowl would be very slim.

At least you guys have only had to listen to the "exposed" or "overrated" crap once. Whether or not those comments are true (and, I hate those terms), it sucks to all of the sudden see people come out and diminish the results of the previous weeks or years, etc., based on one game.

Ohio State should never get another shot at a NC Game ever.
they blew it not once but twice... forget giving them a third chance.

heck shouldnt they have gotten the death penalty like SMU?
