There is also talk about bailing out the big 3 automakers. I'm really against bailing out the auto industry. I think that they have a flawed business model because of the unions, and that they should fail to be able to restructure properly. I know it will hurt a lot of people, but artificially proping up these guys is not a good idea in the long run. Labor wages are out of control, and retiree benefits are outrageous. I really do not want to fund all of the GM retiree healthcare costs when I have to pay for my own.

And not to mention the executives took, yet another extravegant get away at a Phoenix resort and tried to get the resort to cover it up. This is total bullshit. The taxpayers now own 80% of this company. They should all be fired and just start over.

The CEO stated that get away's like these are necessary to keep the company running. WTF? How about a get together at the corporate office. Instead of spending $400K on bullshit.
