so i am sure that yall have seen in the last month the stuff about obama not being a citizen.... I blew it off as right wing crap... and it likely still is ... but i would have figured that obama would have just provided an actual birth certificate by now ... that guy in pennsylvania still has that lawsuit going I believe .. .and obamas lawyers are not just providing the certificate... which is the only thinng that i think is odd...

my guess is that he is a citizen... yet he doesnt have the documents to prove it...

so what would happen if he wins in november then they come out and say he cant prove he is a citizen? does mccain win by default ?
does biden take over ?

in case you dont know what i am talking about....

If I was him, and I had proof I was a citizen, I would hold out until the LAST possible moment to reveal the proof. Let them hang themself with all the accusations, they will look like complete fools when/if he produces proof.

I think if there was anything to this, it would be in the main stream media by now.

i thought that same thing ... but.... he isnt running for homecoming king.... and it does him no good to wait to show proof... if anything it hurts him every minute he doesnt respond to the court order/lawsuit. who is going to hang themselves?its not like mccain himself is talking about this .... but maybe you are right he is waiting for mccain to bring it up then he will produce proof... but wait that really does him no good as he is ahead ....if he was behind i could see that working to his advantage to have a moment where mccain has egg on his face...

the other thing i thought was interesting was that the lawyer brought up in that video that obama posted a certificate that wasnt a birth certificate or somesuch... then took it down later......

mccain has provided his documented proof.....why hasnt obama? simply just to say "haha i got you conspiracy theorists!" ... i doubt it ....

interesting video... and I agree with tom what gain does he have by not releasing it. I don't see any. On the other hand if he is hiding something I see alot of gain on his part.

Also waiting on mccain to bring it up is silly. There are many ways the republicans would/could bring it up without mccain being involved and regardless it would be crazy for mccain to do so. I can't see the dems holding out just for that.

ok so regardless of if it is true or not .... what happens if it is and he has already been elected?

I would assume that if he is elected yet not swarn in that mccain wins by default... ?

if he has been sworn in then i would guess biden takes over....as if obama was impeached or something?

Senate requirements:
U.S. Constitution
(Article I, Section 3)
No Person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the
Age of thirty Years, and been nine Years a Citizen of the United
States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that
State for which he shall be chosen.

Presidential requirements:
U.S. Constitution
(Article II, Section 1)
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United
States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be
eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible
to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years,
and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

A naturalized citizen CAN hold the office of senator.
A naturalized citizen can NOT hold the office of president.
That's what they have their panties in a wad about.

hes actually less black than some of our former presidents. But based on the definition of black he would be the 6th black president. http://www.diversityinc.com/public/1461.cfm

I think that a lot of people are worried that, if we get a black president, we will never have another white president again. But I don't think that the old adage of "once you go black, you never go back" applies to politics.

it could work out just the opposite. if obama gets elected and has anything less than a stellar term, it could hurt any future chances for black president.

sad that it would still matter, but it does.
